There was a soul food restaurant on the far West Side but couldn't remember its name until I saw this. It was the West Boondocks. So many memories of people & places that are long gone. Thank you for posting this.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. May you all have many blessings on this day.
What is the Master thankful of? All of his loving family & friends, all of you--every one that loves his music, his new horn!, his GREAT Quintet--Terell, David, Jeb & Billy & all the great musicians he shared the stage with this year, new album coming out via Smoke Sessions Records in May, all the playing/work/music they all did in 2023, students that connect with him, and everything to look forward to in 2024. It's truly a blessed life. Thank you.
