Maestro McPherson will be home for a bit after the blast of a summer he just experienced. A fan from Wales named Michael Phillipson followed everything Charles did this summer that was online - and LOVED it all. Phillipson looked up some photos he remembered taking while teaching at Queens - from a jazz series on a pier, probably led by Jimmy Heath.
