Charles McPherson fans listen up! Master Charles will be at SMOKE Jazz Club November 4-8 with the group he calls "THE BAND!" Terell Stafford, Billy Drummond, David Wong and Jeb Patton. David recently wrote to us, and I don't think he'll mind sharing here: "Every time I get to play with him (Charles), I think there is no one on this planet that can do what he can do." Indeed, David, we agree. And he loves playing with this marvelous band of fellow-MASTERS, and LOVES Smoke. If you can't be there, they do a topnotch stream!
